He is a member of the Kane County Bar Association and is a member and past president of the DeKalb County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Federal and State Courts. Jack C. Slingerland received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. He has served as a DeKalb County Assistant State's Attorney, as a DeKalb County Public Defender, and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois. He is the city attorney for Genoa, IL. He has also served as a member of the legislative staff of the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives, Michael Madigan.
Attorney Dale J. Clark has over 25 years of experience in family law and is a trained family mediator. Whether you have been ordered by the court to attend mediation or you need help reaching an agreement with the other parent regarding your child, Attorney Clark can help both the parties with the process. Dale joined our firm in 2006 and is now the co-owner of Slingerland & Clark, P.C. He has served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem to represent children in custody disputes. He has formerly served on CASAs Board of Directors. He is a member of the Kane County Bar Association, the DeKalb County Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He also serves as a hearing officer for DeKalb County and is a former trustee for the Village of Hinckley.
